Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of LaunchBook and applies to all providers, clients, and users. It is designed to protect the platform, its users, and the public. Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

2. Prohibited Services

Providers may not use LaunchBook to offer, book, or facilitate:

  • Illegal goods or services (drugs, weapons, stolen property, counterfeit goods)
  • Adult content, sexual services, or pornography
  • Unlicensed medical, dental, or healthcare procedures requiring a professional license
  • Financial services (loans, investments, cryptocurrency trading)
  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons of any kind
  • Services that violate local, state, or federal law

3. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

  • Discriminate against clients based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Submit fake bookings or engage in booking fraud
  • Attempt to circumvent no-show fees or payment obligations
  • Use the platform to spam, phish, or solicit clients for off-platform services
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform
  • Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or fees
  • Impersonate another person or entity

4. Content Standards

All content posted through LaunchBook (service menus, profiles, descriptions, communications) must:

  • Be accurate and not misleading
  • Not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Not contain malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Not disclose another person's private information without consent

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate violations and take appropriate action, including but not limited to:

  • Issuing warnings
  • Removing content
  • Suspending or terminating accounts
  • Reporting to law enforcement

We are not obligated to monitor the platform for violations but may do so at our discretion.

6. Reporting Violations

To report a violation of this policy, email hello@launchbook.app. Reports will be reviewed and appropriate action taken.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
